Get discounts and earn rebates with the CSX referral program.

Overview

The referral system rewards users for directing buyers to the marketplace. When a buyer, new or previously referred by the same affiliate, makes a purchase, the affiliate continues to receive rebates based on the purchase value. Concurrently, the buyer retains their discount on transaction fees for each subsequent purchase made under the same affiliate referral.

How It Works (to set referral code for a discount on your purchases)

1. Go to: https://app.csx.gg/referrals.

2. Enter the referral code given.

3. Sign Wallet TX.

When you set a code on the blockchain, it's your main discount for all purchases. If you don't have a main code, the one from the website link will be used during buying. If no main code was used before, the code from the link becomes the main one. But, if a main code already exists, the new link code won't be used.

Get Rebates as an Affiliate

How It Works (to create a referral code)

1. Go to: https://app.csx.gg/referrals.

2. Locate: Click on the Affiliates tab.

3. Create Code: Create a referral code using any combination of letters, numbers, and underscores.

4. Adjust Discount vs Rebate: Choose the desired rebate versus the buyer discount.

   • Buyer Discount: Referred buyers enjoy a discount on the transaction fee when they purchase on the marketplace. The discount is a percentage of the base transaction fee (2.6%).

   • Referrer Rebate: As a referrer, you will receive a rebate for each purchase made by your referred buyers. The rebate is a percentage of the remaining transaction fee after the buyer's discount is applied.

Once you've created your code, click on the Ref Code text to copy the code to get your referral link, it should look something like this: https://csx.gg/?r=<your_code>

Note that referral codes are case-sensitive.

Example Referral Link (Calculation)

Assume the following conditions for this example:

• Base transaction fee: 2%

• Buyer fee discount percentage: 11%

• Referrer rebate percentage: 39%

In this example:

• A referred buyer would pay a 1.78% fee instead of the regular 2% fee when making a purchase.

• The referrer would receive a 0.78% rebate on the net purchase value of every transaction made by their referred buyers.

With this referral code, an item purchased for 1000 tokens, would result in:

1. Buyer:

   • The buyer has to pay 998 tokens instead of 1000 tokens (a 2-token discount).

2. Referrer:

   • The referrer receives 7.8 tokens as a reward, which is 0.78% of the total purchase value.

3. Token stakers:

   • The CSX stakers receive the remaining amount from the base fee after deducting the buyer's discount and the referrer's reward.

   • Base fee: 20 tokens

   • Buyer's discount: 2 tokens

   • Referrer's reward: 7.8 tokens

   • Token stakers' reward: 20 - 2 - 7.8 = 10.2 tokens

4. Item Seller:

   • Receives 980 tokens for their sale of the item.
